    Receiving is a skill.

Brieann Powell Roberts, Certified Massage Therapist & Holistic Esthetician

A spinal injury at 12 taught me that treatment only works when you can receive it. In every session I slow my tempo and my breath, so you can relax and let it in.

I came to bodywork through gymnastics, trained in Los Angeles, San Diego, Mammoth Lakes and Maui, and have worked in Mariposa since 2010.

    Read my story

By 15, I was introduced to Chinese medicine and deep tissue rehabilitation after Western medicine could only show me the damage, not the path forward.

Then someone taught me how to receive treatment, and that changed everything. It's still the heart of how I work.
